Take it Easy
Harrison Lagoon Walk
Walk along the lakeshore and stroll to visit the source of the natural hot springs. This short 5 kilometer walk will give you some insight into the beauty that Harrison has to offer.
Discover an abundance of untouched forest, meadows, streams and wildlife on this nature walk that can branch off into more challenging hikes.
This is a short walk through a cedar forest in which local artists have taken it upon themselves to decorate some of the cedars with beautiful masks.
Not for the Faint of Heart
This 20 km return hike is anything but a walk in the park but is more than worth the struggle when you pass by numerous waterfalls, stunning views of Harrison Lake and the Fraser Valley.
AKA the Harrison Grind. This trail leads you up Agassiz Mountain and provides stunning views of the lake along the way. You are rewarded at the top where you will find the small and secluded Campbell Lake.
Towering 7,000 ft above the Fraser Valley it is safe to say that you will see some of the lower mainland’s most spectacular views atop Mount Cheam. It is a 2-3 hour climb through open country and is well worth the visit.
Nature Hikes
Sandy Cove Trail & Whipperwill Point
Just past the trail that leads to the natural hot springs source, this hike will take you farther down the shoreline of Harrison Lake. Be prepared for some unbelievable views and great picture opportunities.
This family friendly hike completes a loop around Hicks Lake, located in the Sasquatch Provincial Park, a short 20 minute drive from the Harrison Beach Hotel.
Deer Lake is another lake situated within Sasquatch Provincial Park. This hike is only 10 minutes outside of the village and gives you a loop of the quiet little lake.
Bridle Veils Falls Hike
This is a relatively short hike that will take approximately an hour but is well worth it to see the 6th highest waterfalls in Canada.
